It needed to be a place which felt suitable to celebrate another year of being together, at the same time was supposed to take us away from the daily humdrum and of course reachable within a few hours from Gurgaon. Therefore after considering a few options we had chosen Devi Ratn by IHCL SeleQtions as it passed through all our filters, ably complemented by our inherent bias for a kind of hospitality which you get at a property associated with the Taj Group. Still remember the incredible gesture by the staff at Taj Fort Aguada almost a decade ago where they specially set up a dinner table for us next to their pool, just because we had some confusion about their seating arrangements.

Not surprisingly the stay at Devi Ratn was everything we had wished for and beyond, with their tiny little details delighting you as a customer. Right from check in where you are taken through all the details and made comfortable to the final process of check out, where you are a recipient of another thoughtful gesture of getting a snack box for your child on the road, the experience left us with nothing but the feeling of Wah Taj

Choose a Room to your liking

Depending on your own need and budgets you can choose between a variety of room ranging between a Deluxe Room to the Jaipur Suite. For an extremely exclusive experience there is the option of SeleQtions Villa if you are willing to pay upwards of Rs. 75000 per night. Nonetheless a Premium Room with King Bed suited our requirement and fitted perfectly within budget. We made our reservations through MakeMyTrip and got an attractive package which included one major meal along with the complimentary breakfast plus 20% discount on Spa and other restaurants. Our room was an absolute thing of beauty, a delicate balance between contemporary pastel colors intertwined with the traditional art of Jaipur. The size of the room was perfect for us, a family of three. Carefully designed seating spaces and large windows also made the room comfortable to lounge around.

Enjoy a host of facilities and activities during your stay

When you plan a weekend getaway to a luxurious property where all you want to do is stay in and relax then an array of activities within the premises and properly functioning facilities are critical elements which and add to the overall experience. At Devi Ratn they are well stocked with options of fun and leisure activities to keep you occupied over the weekend. Their lovely swimming pool with Aravallis in the backdrop was a perfect spot for a great sundowner. Adjacent to the pool was a well equipped gym and recreational room with board game, pool and even XBox. A good ayurvedic massage at the Jiva Spa is a must. For quick excursions around the premises you can rent an E-bike. They have two very good fine dine restaurants in Vyom and Oriental Pavillion, the latter serves fantastic Asian food.

A well trained and responsive staff

The stay was very hospitable from the word go, made possible by an an extremely courteous staff. We were well attended while the hotel sorted out the check in and information given was fairly detailed. Housekeeping was prompt, proactive and quick to respond. The complimentary dish offered to us while we had dinner at Vyom on one of the nights was definitely a touch of class and care. Finally a set of neat little souvenirs and a box of condiments as we checked out was really thoughtful and generous.

How Do you Reach

It is a drive of ~ 260 Kilometers from Gurugram which at should take around 4 hours factoring a break in between. Most of it is on the new and swanky Delhi – Mumbai Expressway till the get off at the exit for Dausa on to NH 21.
